Norton Firewall

First open up Norton's firewall software on your computer.

Next on the top or wherever click "OPTIONS"

Under "PERSONAL FIREWALL" click "ADVANCED OPTIONS"

The click "OTHER"

It should look like this: (If you're reading this from the computer with the problem, you obviously won't be able to see the graphic below. Just follow the text instructions)

Just click on "80" and hit "REMOVE"

You will still be protected the same it will just allow you to view pictures from domains with hot link protection .

Zone Alarm

Hotlink protection does not work with Zone Alarm Pro enabled. I cannot see the images with Zone Alarm Pro even though I'm at the correct ur.. Is there a setting I can put in to Zone Alarm Pro that will solve this problem?

This is because Zone Alarm removes private headers. It essentially keeps the server from knowing where you came from. You can work around this without losing much privacy.

In Zone Alarm, select Privacy menu. Under Cookie Control, click Custom. In the Custom Privacy Settings, uncheck the Remove Private Header Information box. Save all settings, and provided that this is the only firewall you have, it will work.
